In this video, we went to BBI Autosport to scan their Porshe 911 which is one of the winners of the Pikes Peak International Hillclimb. BBI required a full 3D model to check the aerodynamics of the car, since they only designed some of the parts, a full CAD model was not available. This car was scanned in less than 1 hour by 3D Infotech using Creaform's MetraSCAN, it is amazing what you can do when you are not limited by the volume and when you don't need to spend time placing targets.

For example, deep pockets or holes can now be easily measured with this solution.
